This not-for-profit site was launched on 30 November 2003 and is a product of secondary research information I've gathered from Sound City users and members of the Plexi Palace's Sound City forum, and of primary research that includes phone and email interviews conducted with former employees of Dallas Arbiter and Dallas Music Industries (DMI). I've done my best to present all this information as accurately as possible. |
But I really must caution you: perusing this site can lead to a severe condition called GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome), which causes sufferers to do things similar to what is shown here: purchase every &%$!ing piece of Sound City gear they can lay their hands on!
